A multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways won the ‘World’s Best Airline’ for the unprecedented eighth time at the 2024 World Airline Awards, managed by the international air transport rating organisation, Skytrax. Qatar Airways was the first Airline in the Middle East to be certified to the highest level of IATA’s Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) programme, based on recognised environmental management system principles (such as ISO 14001).

In addition to exclusive meals, Qatar Airways offers a Dine-on-Demand service in Business Class. Passengers can decide when they want to eat.

Diverse Entertainment Options Onboard

Passengers on Qatar Airways can access the award-winning Oryx One in-flight entertainment system through their personal electronic devices, depending on the cabin configuration. This is made possible by a QR code displayed on the screen, which they can scan to access the entertainment program with more than 8,000 options such as movies, music, and video games on their smartphone.

Additionally, the airline offers its passengers access to numerous selected magazines and newspapers from around the world through the Oryx One app. Customers in all booking classes enjoy 1 hour of free Wi-Fi if they are registered in the free Privilege Club.

Young Travelers

Qatar Airways' renowned customer service also extends to families traveling with their children.

Onboard, young travelers can enjoy spacious seats with room to eat, sleep, stretch out, and play. Additionally, entertaining and educational Young Traveler Kits are available for children aged 0-10 years. Special children's meals in reusable Oryx Kids Club lunchboxes are also available upon pre-order.

The Oryx One entertainment system offers great options for the little guests, including movies, video content, music, games, educational programs, and a cartoon channel.

Generous Baggage Allowance

Qatar Airways offers your customers a generous free baggage allowance, ranging from 20kg to 35kg in Economy Class and 40kg in Business Class, depending on the fare. For flights to/from Africa or North and South America, an increased baggage allowance applies. In Economy Class, customers benefit from a free baggage allowance of 2 pieces, each weighing 23kg, and 2 pieces, each weighing 32kg, in Business Class.
